My research efforts identify recently invented or formulated products like CBD oil that show promise in helping to reverse symptoms of Alzheimer’s and other neurological conditions . The 2023 study abstract included at the bottom of this post reports promising results for the use of CBD as a treatment for dementia.
What source of CBD oil should you try? The CBD product previewed in this post is just that – a new formulation that I think is worth seriously considering. It is called 10xPure Gold Super 1500 CBDa oil.
This formulation is a significant improvement over traditional CBD oils. It has been formulated to have 10 times the penetration and potency of other CBD products. This means you should be able to take fewer drops and spend less to celebrate symptom relief.
Once you purchase from CTFO as I have, you become an “affiliate” of the company. It is a direct sales company – not a MLM.
CTFO conducts laboratory testing on all of their samples to insure that the contents are organic and the concentrations match what is advertised. All laboratory testing is available for inspection. If a CBDa bottle is advertised to contain 450 mg of CBAa , you can be assured it does. When they advertise it is organic, you can rest assured it is.
I have no hesitation recommending this company. They generously extend a 100% money back guarantee if the product does not offer the symptom relief you seek. You only need to return the empty bottle within 60 days and your purchase price and shipping will be refunded.
There is no risk in trying this therapy out to see if it offers relief from your symptoms.

I recommend this option because it offers the greatest concentration of CBD (450 mg) at the best price per mg. This means you will benefit from needing to take less to celebrate symptom relief.
What is CBD Oil?
CBD stands for “cannabinoid oil”. It is extracted from either the Hemp plant or Marijuana. CBD allows for the benefits of medical marijuana without the high that is associated with THC. As such, CBD in itself has no psychedelic properties and is generally considered safe for consumption. It is legal in the United States and many other countries as well.
CBD Side Effects
Studies of cannabidiol (CBD) report it is well-tolerated but may cause tiredness, diarrhea or change appetites.
Have You Already Tried CBD Oil But Were Disappointed with the Outcome?
Know that no therapy – including CBD – will necessarily offer relief from your symptoms. Everyone has a unique body with a unique set of needs.
I have drawn the conclusion, however, that more people experience relief from their symptoms taking CBD than do not. In light of the now extensive research evidence, I have no hesitation in recommending CBD as a viable, no risk option with a 60 day empty bottle money back guarantee.
There are two reasons why you might have not experienced the outcomes expected from taking CBD oil.
A first explanation for why some people do not experience symptom relief is that the concentration of CBD oil they took was insufficient. Research using patients diagnosed with neurological symptoms find that subjects who took a minimum of 300 mg showed improvement. Subjects treated with 75 mg showed no improvement.
A second possible explanation is that the concentration of CBD taken was less than the concentration advertised. Because there are millions of dollars to be made selling CBD which is now legal, many overnight companies have surfaced. Some are legitimate. Others are not. A CBD product can be listed as having a 100 mg concentration of CBD (which is a low concentration) but the actual bottle contains only 25 mg or less. As a promising new health discovery, many fly by night companies have seized the opportunity to make a quick profit by selling a product that contains little of what is advertised.
Which CTFO CBD Oil Products Should You Try?
CTFO continues to formulate new products that all contain their patented form of cannabinoid oil. Among the many options available I recommend that you consider getting the 10X 1500 Pure Full Spectrum CBDa oil drops. Below is the description that I copied from the CTFO website. The highest dosage (450 mg) offers the best value.

Oral THC: CBD cannabis extract in main symptoms of Alzheimer disease: agitation and weight loss. B Palmieri, M Vadalà
Abstract
Objectives: Ten million new cases of dementia are recorded annually worldwide, with agitation and idiopathic weight loss being the most common symptoms. Several pharmacological therapies have emerged in recent years, but the clinical use of cannabis extracts in older patients with AD is constantly growing. This retrospective, analytical, observational, spontaneous trial aimed to enhance the clinical action of THC: CBD cannabis extract administration in AD patients with severe symptoms such as agitation, weight loss, cognitive impairment, and sleep disturbance.
Methods: Thirty patients (9 men and 21 women) diagnosed with mild, moderate, or severe AD, aged 65-90 years, appealing to our Second Opinion Medical Consultation (Modena, Italy), were enrolled and required to use oil-diluted cannabis extract, Bedrocan® (22% THC, 0.5% CBD, Olive Oil 50 ml), twice a day for 12 weeks. The efficacy of cannabinoid therapy was evaluated at baseline and 12 weeks after therapy, employing three self-administered questionnaires completed by the parents of the enrolled patients: NPI-Q, CMAI, and MMSE.
Key findings: The NPI-Q demonstrated a reduction (p<0.0001) in agitation, apathy, irritability, sleep disturbances, and eating disturbances, consequently improving caregiver distress. Levels of physically and verbally aggressive behaviours, measured using the CMAI questionnaire, were lower (p<0.0001) in all patients. The MMSSE questionnaire confirmed a significant decrease (p<0.0001) in cognitive impairment in 45% of the patients.
Conclusion: Our anecdotical, spontaneous, and observational study demonstrated the efficacy and safety of oil-diluted cannabis extract in patients with AD.
Eur J Med Chem. 2020 Apr 15;192:112163. Overview of cannabidiol (CBD) and its analogues: Structures, biological activities, and neuroprotective mechanisms in epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease. Han Li, Yuzhi Liu, Danni Tian, Lei Tian, Xingke Ju, Liang Qi, Yongbo Wang, Chengyuan Liang
Abstract
Herein, 11 general types of natural cannabinoids from Cannabis sativa as well as 50 (-)-CBD analogues with therapeutic potential were described. The underlying molecular mechanisms of CBD as a therapeutic candidate for epilepsy and neurodegenerative diseases were comprehensively clarified.
CBD indirectly acts as an endogenous cannabinoid receptor agonist to exert its neuroprotective effects. CBD also promotes neuroprotection through different signal transduction pathways mediated indirectly by cannabinoid receptors. Furthermore, CBD prevents the glycogen synthase kinase 3β (GSK-3β) hyperphosphorylation caused by Aβ and may be developed as a new therapeutic candidate for Alzheimer’s disease.
Curr Alzheimer Res. 2022;19(2):119-132. Low Intensity Electromagnetic Fields Act via Voltage-Gated Calcium Channel (VGCC) Activation to Cause Very Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease: 18 Distinct Types of Evidence. Martin L Pall
Abstract
Electronically generated electromagnetic fields (EMFs), including those used in wireless communication such as cell phones, Wi-Fi and smart meters, are coherent, producing very high electric and magnetic forces, which act on the voltage sensor of voltage-gated calcium channels to produce increases in intracellular calcium [Ca2+]i. The calcium hypothesis of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) has shown that each of the important AD-specific and nonspecific causal elements is produced by excessive [Ca2+]i. [Ca2+]i acts in AD via excessive calcium signaling and the peroxynitrite/oxidative stress/inflammation pathway, which are each elevated by EMFs.An apparent vicious cycle in AD involves amyloid-beta protein (Aβ) and [Ca2+]i. Three types of epidemiology suggest EMF causation of AD, including early onset AD. Extensive animal model studies show that low intensity EMFs cause neurodegeneration, including AD, with AD animals having elevated levels of Aβ, amyloid precursor protein and BACE1. Rats exposed to pulsed EMFs every day are reported to develop universal or near universal very early onset neurodegeneration, including AD; these findings are superficially similar to humans with digital dementia. EMFs producing modest increases in [Ca2+]i can also produce protective, therapeutic effects. The therapeutic pathway and peroxynitrite pathway inhibit each other.
A summary of 18 different findings is provided, which collectively provide powerful evidence for EMF causation of AD. The author is concerned that smarter, more highly pulsed “smart” wireless communication may cause widespread very, very early onset AD in human populations.
The study abstract below finds that photobiomodulation therapy increases the speed of information processing and enhances brain function. Researchers are now celebrating more and more confirmatory evidence that photobiomodulation offers the opportunity to reverse dementia in many cases and is a viable therapy for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Transcranial photobiomodulation-induced changes in human brain functional connectivity
Biomed Opt Express. 2020 Sep 22;11(10):5783-5799.
Transcranial photobiomodulation (tPBM) with near-infrared light on the human head has been shown to enhance human cognition. In this study, tPBM-induced effects on resting state brain networks were investigated using 111-channel functional near-infrared spectroscopy over the whole head. Measurements were collected with and without 8-minute tPBM in 19 adults. Functional connectivity (FC) and brain network metrics were quantified using Pearson’s correlation coefficients and graph theory analysis (GTA), respectively, for the periods of pre-, during, and post-tPBM. Our results revealed that tPBM (1) enhanced information processing speed and efficiency of the brain network, and (2) increased FC significantly in the frontal-parietal network, shedding light on a better understanding of tPBM effects on brain networks.

A July 2018 University of California San Francisco study presented at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference by Linda Chao PhD offers compelling support for the application of photobiomodulation therapy to treat dementia. Eight adults diagnosed with dementia participated in the study. Four received 12 weeks of self-administered photobiomodulation treatments in their homes. Four were assigned to a control group. Treatments were administered using the Vielight Neuro Gamma device. Outcome measures were assessed at baseline, 6-weeks, and 12-weeks.
Findings revealed significant improvement in cognition and functional connectivity. Dr. Chao concluded that photobiomodulation therapy is a safe, non-pharmacological therapy that can be used to treat Alzheimer’s patients in their homes.
In another 2017 study, the effects of photobiomodulation (PBM) that used red or near-infrared light was studied in five older adults with dementia.
After 12 weeks of treatment subjects showed significant improvements on the Cognitive Alzheimer’s Disease Assessment Scale. With only five subjects, the effect sizes had to be huge for significance to be shown.
Caregivers who kept daily journals tracking experiences of the research subjects reported participants had:
Better sleep
Fewer angry outbursts
Decreased anxiety
Did Positive Results for Subjects Continue After Treatment was Suspended?
No. Precipitous declines were observed during the follow-up 4 week no-treatment period. Results suggest treatments need to continue for results to be sustained.

A New Therapy for Alzheimer’s
Efforts to develop therapies that reverse the dementia of patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease have produced few viable options. I believe one of the reasons for the inability to develop effective therapies is that inventors and researchers have focused on the wrong type of therapies, namely medicines and surgeries. What is the alternative?
In my opinion (speaking as a researcher) the future of medicine rests with light and sound therapies of one form or another. This is why I am so excited to discover brand new, cutting edge therapies that use light to treat medical conditions like Alzheimer’s.
photobiomodulation therapy
The invention featured on this webpage is new. Little study evidence exists for its potential effectiveness. The one study referenced above used five subjects. New studies are underway using the same device, but results will not be available for some time.
If you prefer to wait for clear and convincing evidence that this or any light therapy will help reverse dementia, be on the lookout for research findings that will be completed and released 5-10 years from now. Designing and implementing studies takes time and of course big bucks.
This video previews recent research at MIT that explains why light therapy offers a promising opportunity to reverse dementia associated with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.

Photobiomodulation Mechanism
photobiomodulation mechanism
Visible red and near infrared light energy stimulates cells to generate more energy facilitating self-repair. The healing takes place within the mitochondria through an enzyme called cytochrome c oxidase. This enzyme accepts and converts the light (or photonic) energy into cellular energy (ATP) and other gene transcription factors leading to cellular repair and regeneration.
Will Photobiomodulation Therapy Interfere with My Daily Life?
No. You are welcome to receive the therapy while working, reading or doing anything really. Dr. Lim, the inventor, recommends that people with more serious health issues such as Alzheimers might be advised to do the therapy at night while going to sleep. The treatment duration lasts only 20 minutes.

Current application and future directions of photobiomodulation in central nervous disease
Neural Regen Res (Neural Regeneration Research) 2021 Jun;16(6):1177-1185.
Abstract
Photobiomodulation using light in the red or near-infrared region is an innovative treatment strategy for a wide range of neurological and psychological conditions. It can promote neurogenesis and elicit anti-apoptotic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidative responses. Its therapeutic effects have been demonstrated in studies on neurological diseases, peripheral nerve injuries, pain relief and wound healing. We conducted a comprehensive literature review of the application of photobiomodulation in patients with central nervous system diseases in February 2019.
The NCBI PubMed database, EMBASE database, Cochrane Library and ScienceDirect database were searched. We reviewed 95 papers and analyzed. Photobiomodulation has wide applicability in the treatment of stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, major depressive disorder, and other diseases. Our analysis provides preliminary evidence that PBM is an effective therapeutic tool for the treatment of central nervous system diseases. However, additional studies with adequate sample size are needed to optimize treatment parameters.
